		<description>Thanks for the comments.  Yes, the paper was geared more towards the enterprise.  Personally, I would think swapping out an internal spinning disk for an SSD would be pretty straightforward.   Especially if both devices used the same IDE interface.   I know some online retailers now offer 1.8" and 2.5" SSD's.</description>

I recently acquired an IBM Thinkpad X41 tablet, and I know that there are people who have traded out the tiny 1.8 inch 4200 RPM hard drive for SSD drives and have experienced quite a performance boost.</description>
